Who We Are
SoulJourn Media is the combined efforts of Bill Pivetta, Kevin Sonney, and Terry Dorsey. They are working together to bring positive media and events into the world.
Bill PivettaW.S. Pivetta is an experienced cinematographer, sound technician and editor. He has worked on hundreds of film projects, including independent films, commercials, music videos and features. He is an Instructor at Appalachian State University in the Department of Theatre and Dance, The Carolina Film Institute, and The Blue Ridge Film Institute. He also conducts film and cinematography workshops at various universities throughout the year. He is a member of The Society of Camera Operators, based out of Burbank, CA. His company, First Avenue Films, Inc., specializes in providing support to professional and independent filmmakers. His studio is located at Blue Ridge Motion Pictures in Asheville, NC.
Kevin SonneyKevin Sonney is a Boy Scout Leader and an Information Technology Consultant with over 18 years in the computer industry. He is the founder of Dark Canvas Media and the sound expert at SoulJourn Media. A former radio man, Kevin has rediscovered his passion of media production and engineering as he develops SoulJourn.
Terry DorseyTerry Dorsey is a former Disc Jockey and Commercial Copywriter. Terry has a talent for branding, creative development, marketing and visual concepts. With a B.A. in Communication, Terry has more than twenty years of non-profit development and has assisted seven new adventures achieve success and stand out among the competition.
